‘L’ shaped open plan living space (kitchen, dining and sitting area.) Downstairs bathroom with separate shower cubicle, and wooden stairs to the large bedroom with a further sitting area. Decked patio, use of the owners pretty garden and parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets.

Located to the side of the owners home, a detached former boat house has been converted into a highly appealing bijou retreat with its own access and parking space. Of particular note are the full height windows framed by a fragrant climbing rose.

The Old Boathouse is beautifully presented and quietly located at the top of Back Lane in Blakeney, a short pleasant walk to the Estuary and  the renowned Blakeney quayside with its pubs, shops and deli.

You enter the light ‘L’ shaped sitting room with full height windows, comfy sofa and  tub armchairs. There is an attractive electric ‘woodburner’ in one corner next to the flat screen TV and DVD player. The dining area with round table is in the corner. Overlooking the dining area is the ‘U’ shaped quite spacious kitchen. Off the kitchen is a lobby with access to the bathroom which has white fittings and a separate shower cubicle.

From the sitting area are the wooden stairs leading to a very large bedroom. The bed is to the rear of this space and the bedroom has fitted wardrobes. Towards the front of the bedroom is another sitting area where you can enjoy the light coming in from the full height, West facing windows.

The decked area extends across the front of the Boathouse and has garden furniture. It is West facing so can offer a warm sheltered area for al fresco dining. There is also a very pretty lawned garden to the side of the Boathouse which guests are welcome to use.
