Inner lobby, open plan living/kitchen/dining area with stairs to the first floor. One double bedroom with ensuite shower room, one single room (2' 6" single bed) with ensuite bathroom. Parking for one car and an enclosed garden 20 metres from the cottage.

Thornage is a pretty village in the Glaven river valley, very well located for the coast and Holt.

Kendal House is a quality, renovation of a traditional end of terrace cottage situated in a village close to the coast and approx. 2.5 miles from Holt. Unusually (and usefully) Kendal House has 2 ensuites, one is a shower room to the double bedroom and the other is a bathroom to the single bedroom.

There are some original features preserved in this sweet and coy cottage, mixed with updated  replacements. Ceilings still have the exposed beams and the double glazed windows in the Georgian style preserve the character whilst giving modern day comfort.

The living space provides an open plan kitchen fairly recently installed with a brushed steel cooker and is well equipped. The dining/sitting room has a fold away dining table with a comfy, squashy leather sofa, an armchair and a large swivel chair. There is a most attractive cream wood burning stove, a wall mounted flat screen 'freeview' TV incorporating DVD and a digital radio with built in blue tooth speaker for your ipod, smart phone or tablet connection.  The cottage also benefits from a WIFI connection.


Outside on the loke there is parking for one car directly outside the cottage.  Ffrom here 4 curved brick steps (with hand rail) lead down the the entrance of the cottage.

Approx 20 meters from the front door is the pretty, enclosed garden with a patio and lawn. It is sheltered and catches the sun in most places through the day. The garden has been planted with shrubs and flowers and has garden furniture.

Non smoking property • Please note the garden can only be accessed from the loke and not directly from the cottage.  It is situated between two neighbouring cottages.

A well behaved dog is accepted but we must point out that the neighbours have a freerange cockeral. As the garden is separate to the cottage, dogs must not be left unsupervised.  The owner has his dog here on occasion with no problem but we ask you to take care.
